The Stump in the Yard

Even after this particular stump has been declared dead and mostly cut away, life still finds a way to make use of it. There are bugs that make its home within its now exposed rings, and new shoots of leaves spring from the crevices of its bark. To quote from Jurassic Park, “life, uh… finds a way.”

The Egret in the Tree

Can’t seem to find any egrets fishing in the waters? Look up at the surrounding trees. An egret is comfortable high in the branches, because that’s where it builds its nest.
