An Egret Hunting

leave a comment »

I promise on my next days off I will take photos of something other than egrets or swans. This constant rain has made it difficult to go out and take new photos, so I’ve been forced into a rotation of some of the same locations and shoots that I would normally rotate in over months.

Until it’s sunny, more egrets! (Sorry.)

A Quick Update

with one comment

Hey, folks. Sorry about the lack of posts recently — I’ve been ill and didn’t have the energy on the day I normally write up my posts. I promise I’ve got some good photos coming up, as soon as I can get ’em out of my camera.

On a side note, I’ve spotted an egret or two, and I think (though I was too far away to be sure) that I also saw an osprey hunting the pond. Spring is here!

I spent probably half an hour watching this guy and taking his picture. I’m sure D thought I was nuts!

Another garden, another lizard! I found this guy working hard on his pushups, which is a way that lizards communicate with each other. I wonder what he was trying to say to me.
