The Flowers on the Tree

with 2 comments

I just spotted this beautiful Saucer Magnolia within the Village limits — I don’t think it’s been there very long, as it’s still very small, but it’s absolutely gorgeous. The recent rains have since washed away the blooms (all the petals are scattered on the ground underneath) but have no fear — the Saucer Magnolia often re-flowers throughout the summer.
